Walter Coulson, English newspaper editor and barrister. In his youth, he studied under and worked for the philosopher Jeremy Bentham, who helped him get a position at the Morning Chronicle in 1813. Coulson became editor of the liberal political newspaper The Traveller in 1800, and in 1828, began his career as a barrister.
